This book is outdated. It was designed for an old edition of the
Official SAT Study Guide; the current edition, the 2nd edition, has
different tests.

Excellent Explanations for the College Board Official SAT Study Guide First Edition, November 28, 2010 By Celtics Fan
This book did an excellent job explaining all of the questions in the First Edition of the College Board Official SAT Study Guide. The math section was very clearly explained. The writing section also was helpful showing why the sentence was wrong. The critical reading was what I needed the book for the most. It quoted parts of the passages to show why the answer was correct. The explanations to the questions could be more elaborate on some of the questions. Some of the writing questions had multiple answers that sounded correct and the book did not always give a good explanation as to why the other choices were not correct.

SAT Tutor, May 1, 2010 By Michael Hickey "Author: Rock the Test"
Rock the Test is an outstanding practical companion to the MOST popular SAT Study Guide one can buy: The College Board's Official Guide to the SAT. Rock the Test is the ONLY Solutions manual on the market that gives the step-by-step solutions to SAT tests made up by the test maker --- Educational Testing Service. No other study guide except the College Board's has real SAT questions and no other book but Rock the Test explains how to get the answers along with valuable strategies for any future SAT. Although this edition was written for the "old" version of the College Board's Study Guide (8 complete tests), the "new" version of the College Board's book (10 complete tests) is really not "new". In other words, the "new" book only contains 3 new tests. The other 7 are IDENTICAL to seven of the tests found in the "old" version. (e.g. test #2 in the old is #4 in the new, #3 is #5, #4 is #6 etc.) In other words, Rock the Test will be a very valuable companion for years to come, and much more inexpensive than an $85/hr tutor like myself! A new version of Rock the Test will be released in the near future. Good luck on the test and may the Lord guide you to the school which will be best benefit you!!
